Since 2017, William has led a community camp for inner-city boys with multiple ministries and mentor programs call Manhood Camp Houston. It is am extension of The Urban Youth Workers Institute's Manhood Camp that began in California. The goal of the camp is to help boys address their father wounds, teach them life skills, and share Godly wisdom.
Serving an urban church in the heart of Houston, Texas for over 13 years, William has experienced a lot of things. He has made helping educate and encourage other youth leaders one of his driving goals for ministry. He is often mentoring or sharing resources with ministries because he believes consistent leadership helps build faithful youth that maintain their belief in Christ.
After his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, William started taking greater concern for his own health. God healed William's father and William began the journey to blend his love of Christ with his newfound joy of healthy living. As a motivational speaker and preacher, William teaches techniques for setting health goals, maintaining realistic fitness regimens, and how it relates to faith. He published a book called Head to Soul (A fitness Devotional) that is available on Amazon.
